A new semester started yesterday. Infact it is my final semester as an English undergraduate student! I am not digging the module I'm doing though. I wanted to do Women Writers, but got lumped with my second choice of Early Modern Women Writers, which is from 1590-1790. Not quite my specialist subject... I am missing the more contemporary stuff of last semester. Anyway, this is what I wore to brave my return to uni, my new dress from h&m. Afterwards I went for a coffee with a friend off my course and then did a little bit of shopping.
I just hope I don't need too much retail therapy because of this module...my bank balance will cry. Anyway, I bought this new skirt from h&m, it was £15. I love the shape of it and the way it nips my waist in. I wore it to eat too much pizza in and then watch Frost/Nixon because it was Scott's birthday. It was a really good film too! I wasn't expecting much of it but I got rather engrossed although I was sleepy because of eating too much pizza beforehand. I hope that my week improves, I already have too much work to do! What are your plans for the rest of the week?

Without sounding like a gushing internet stalker I just wanted to say how much I love your style. You dress how I want to dress but don't quite have the confidence in myself to put outfits together. I have loads of colour popping shoes and cardigans like you but I never wear them. I took inspiration from you today and wore bright red t.bar heels and my stripey navy and cream stripey dress to work :)
I adore the 2nd outfit. The new skirt looks great! I really liked Frost/Nixon, too.

ReplyDeleteWell, we're already into the middle of the week. But I'm going to Kaiser Chiefs tonight. On Saturday I have an Ikea furniture putting-up day with my parents and boyfriend. And on Saturday evening and Sunday, Marc and I are celebrating our three-year anniversary :)

ALWAYS leave worrying about money/spending/shopping until after exams. Things do make us happy when we can't spend time on time-consuming happy-making things. Happy => positive mental attitude => better working attitude => better revision => good results. Very important.
