Today I took a little break from my work to go out for lunch with my Grandparents, Mum and Scott, as it was my Nana's birthday yesterday. It was the perfect opportunity to wear my new dress from Dorothy Perkins. It's so ladylike and elegant - perfect for pleasing the Grandparents! It reminds me so much of Charlotte York's style. I'm pretty sure that if she was an English lady on a budget she would snap up this Dorothy Perkin's £30 bargain, but of course she can afford designer things.
Ah Charlotte. My favourite Sex and The City girl. This photo is terrible quality considering I sniped it from the HBO page for her, but it is a perfect example of how she does ladylike florals. I honestly do take back what I said about florals, it's just hard finding ones that suit me and my wardrobe, but I think this dress goes perfectly with other stuff in my wardrobe, with the splashes of red and yellow on the flowers. Charlotte is definitely one of my inspirations for floral prints.

I love Charlotte's style, too. She was always my favorite fashion-wise, too. Remember the wallpaper in her apartment? That, too. Sigh.
