So yes, not too drastic but quite a change! I think it will be good for spring and summer because long hair just makes you too hot and bothered! Maybe next time I should get some shorter layers cut in? I'm never one for any big changes with my hair, the biggest change I ever had was when I had a big, thick, blunt fringe cut in for my school formal (prom), which can be LOL-ed at here. I am on the far left (incase you couldn't tell!). Yes I was quite the 'goth' back in the day. My dress was black velvet with lace detail at the bottom that I scored from Oxfam for a mere £8! Awesomes. But, the fringe didn't suit me because of my stupid cows lick and I have been scared of fringes ever since. What's the most drastic haircut you've ever had?

ReplyDeleteI had a drastic haircut in November, I got loads cut off my hair, it went from chest length to chin length and I felt really naked! It was probably a bit too short, but when it grew a tiny bit it looked a lot better.
I love it! Much healthier and I bet it feels better, too.

oh helen, it looks nice! who cares if it's drastic or not? as long as you're happy with it & you wear it well, that's all that matters. & you most certainly do wear it well :]

ReplyDeleteI cut my own fringe...but it turned into one of those things where the more you tried to cut it straight...the shorter it got..
Luckily this was during the school holidays a few years back hahaha

oh, i LOVE the haircut. i'm way too scared to cut my hair that short (yeah, that's pretty short to me.) i don't think i'd look good with it, but it looks excellent on you! it makes me want to be a risktaker.

It looks great! Good hair cut. Got rid of all the scraggly ends totally. And it really suits you :) I've always had my haircuts done in stages. I've probably had a foot chopped off at a few points in my life. I've had waist long hair, and a #5 short, back & sides. My last hair cut I'd been growing my hair a year and had it all chopped into. Had a general 3-4" chopped off, and then up to about 6-8" around the flippy bits. Maybe that one?

ReplyDeleteMy most drastic haircut might be my last one, because I chopped off a LOT. It went from middle of the back to a short bob. Loved it too.
It looks lovely! When I was about 7 I made the decision to cut my hair short....since then I've always had it very long, it looks awful when it's short and I love having long long hair for when I do a beehive!

I am in desperate need of a cut - i'm growing it for my prom in june and then i am going to have a very drastic cut, or i may just go bald, as my hair bugs me!!! haha.

You're new hair looks great. I've just pretty much the same thing to my hair for the summer. It was quite long before, but it was a hassle to look after, so I got it cut so that its just below my shoulders.

ReplyDeleteThe most drastic haircut I ever had was when the hairdresser cut my layers to like 3 inches long, and made my hair look like a mullet :| awful experience, I ended up having to get hair extensions whilst my hair grew out a bit. Bad times!

ReplyDeleteThe most drastic thing I ever did with my hair was probably going from blonde highlights to dark brown when I was 17, but more recently I've kept the same style and colour for quite a few years now. Maybe it's time for a chop?
