Wow, it's been over 2 weeks with no post. I think that is the longest time I've gone without posting ever. Let's just say that doing a Master's and working in a theatre where Panto season has just started = madness. I have 5000 words due in on 4th January and I've also been working lots, serving ice cream and fizzy drinks to screaming kids. To be honest, it is only just starting to feel like christmas to me now. I have my little tree up and it's also snowing (slightly) outside. People are off work now and the house is stocked full of lovely food.
Of course, I haven't been too busy to bake some festive cupcakes.
I'm going to try to start catching up with your lovely blogs also and maybe squeeze in a few festive outfit posts too. Hope you are all well <3

I completely understand about being busy... I never realised that doing a Masters would leave me without a social life, or time to do anything else! I've only managed to keep up with blogging because I have an amazing blog-partner, and because I schedule a few posts over the weekend or whenever I can squeeze in half an hour. But you've just reminded me that I have a huge essay due in a couple of weeks as well that I must get started on...!
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to relax a bit now and enjoy your holiday :)
Those cupcakes are so beautiful! You are such a talented baker... :)

Mmmm, these look so delicious! I hope you have some time to wind down a bit during the holidays; Library Science can be a very stressful program just 'cause of all the time-consuming work! But I suppose it's like that for every Master's program.

ReplyDeleteI barely had time to sleep when I was working and getting my Master's, so I completely understand. Take it easy and enjoy the holidays!!
It's such a busy time of year, but isn't it just so lovely when you sit back and realise you don't have to do anything or go anywhere for at least 2 days? Hooray!

ReplyDeleteCupcakes, yummy! Good luck with your paper. It's really too bad that you have to work so hard close so close to the holidays. It makes me feel a lot luckier for not having any work over the break. Anyway, I do hope you do some outfit posts :)

'Tis the season of crazy busy busy. It definitely gets a bit hard to balance. I can't imagine having 5,000 words due about anything right now, although I empathize. I've stood in similar shoes.
