Another floral dress! I actually counted up how many I have now and it amounts to 8. However, I have no floral skirts whatsoever which is quite odd. But I have a huge amount of polka dot skirts. Also, I only ever buy stripes on t-shirts. This makes for quite an uncoordinated wardrobe and I am not brave enough to mix patterns.
The dress is from New Look, which actually has a rather nice selection these days, despite it's slightly chavvy image. They're also doing 20% student discount at the moment which was a nice surprise, making this dress only £20. It was certainly worth getting into an argument with a woman over queueing over!
I wore it with this new necklace from Topshop that says I love tea on it. I can't stop pretending to sip it and stir it. Why are things so much nicer in miniature?

I think New Look have some great things - you do have to hunt around though. That dress is really pretty and looks fab with those red shoes!

ReplyDeleteI have zero polka dot skirts and zero floral skirts. In fact, I think I have about 3 skirts in total! Dresses are much more my thing. I love yours.

ReplyDeleteMany moons ago I used to work for New Look and we had 50% discount. Unsurprisingly, 50% of my wages ended up being spent there anyway.
darling outfit
ReplyDeleteYour dress is adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm very specific about buying prints as well, so none of my tops ever end up matching with my tops! I've tried mixing prints a few times, but I'm usually not that brave. The best advice for mixing, though, is to match one of the colors in both prints. :)

ReplyDeleteI love that dress! The print is perfect.
ReplyDeleteYou should mix prints. It's fun :)
New Look has been brilliant lately! I just got their Luella rip-off dress - cute and black with a heart shaped back. It's so flattering. I have to say though, I've always found their dresses to be really good - they embrace waists and full skirts, which a lot of shops don't do. Lately, I'm falling over their workwear - some lovely floral blouses and cardigans that I need.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that dress in mine though and I'm going to have to hunt it out - it's lovely. Plus all the lush floral dresses in dp... I think I've spent my next paycheque before it even arrives!
I've seen the 20% off signs, it makes me miss having an NUS card, sigh!
very nice ;) like it! ;)
