I've been attempting to get back into outfit posts. However, I've been having 'bad face days' lately. My skin has gone terrible with acne again, like when I was 14, so I'm trying to refrain from wearing as much make up and I don't think you would all like to see my spotty-make up free face at the moment! Does anyone have any fail-proof ways of reducing redness and soreness in pimples? They would be greatly appreciated!
Anyway, the first outfit is what I wore on mother's day. My sister and I organised a tea party and I thought this was the perfect tea party outfit. The dress is nearly a year old now but I still love it and it's starting to become perfect weather to wear it again. The second outfit is what I wore for Easter sunday. The dress is from ebay, but originally Dorothy Perkins. Cannot beat a floral dress for springtime (I think I have about 9 floral dresses now, oops!). And finally, this stripy skirt is the love of my life (almost). I bought it for 'work wear', but I like it too much to just wear it for work. When I did wear it for work though I got so many compliments, which made me love it even more.
Have you all had a lovely Easter? I've ate far too much this weekend and have to get cracking on with some research for my Uni work now. No rest for the wicked!

I think all outfits are super cute. You look like a doll :)

Can't beat a good floral dress on a bright spring day! Love the striped skirt. So chic!
ReplyDeleteEeek, I really adore the last outfit! Seems outside of your box to wear something without much colour or florals (god, this sounds horrible already, please take this the right way - it's meant so positively!) which makes the outfit all the more brilliant. Not to mention the great item matching - & I SO LOVE the skirt! I bet you got it ages ago though & it's never to be found again :(
ReplyDeleteYes!
ReplyDeleteYou always look so flawlessly cute.
Darling!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good Easter weekend...yes college work is going to pile on now...not looking foreword to it.
Oh I love that floral dress! So pretty and summery! Sorry about your skin, it doesn't show at all in the pictures but I know how horrible it can be to get a breakout just when you thought you were over all that! Alas I have no foolproof way of getting rid of them except to say you should definitely go to the doctors if it stays bad.
ReplyDeleteyou look so lovely in all 3 outfits! I am a sucker for both floral and nautical inspiration/vibe!
ReplyDeleteI had a acne/"remembering my teen times" period a couple of months ago, and got my skin terribly spotted, but it stopped now, without me doing something!
x

ReplyDeleteaw, a tea party! so cute! great outfits. hope the skin clears up soon, it's such a pain :(

Gorgeous outfits, you look great!! I love when a 'work wear' item is so nice it ends up getting rotated into your normal clothes, that skirt is great! As for acne, when I had it I found that Fresh Farmacy (I think that's it's name?) facewash from Lush was really good at clearing up spots and soothing the skin so I'd recommend that!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits!
ReplyDeleteI have the dress that you're wearing in the second photo but I got the yellow version. I haven't worn it yet tho! There's a vintage fair that I'm planning on going to at the weekend so i think i might wear it then.

Very cute, I love your style! I have a Kidston Cardigan; I bought it in the sale from £75 to £30 and it's totally lost it's shape. Yours looks lovely!

I love the first dress so much, you look great! Sorry to hear about your skin problems, I always use superdrug's tea tree skincare treatments and they clear my problems up really quickly. I would recommend! :)
ReplyDeleteAll such cute outfits! I especially adore the floral dresses. Glad you had a nice Easter x
ReplyDeletewow, I love that first floral dress so much
ReplyDeletegreat outfits!
ReplyDeletere spots - the pill! I went on the pill when I was 17 because of my acne and it all but made it disappear. And it was BAD. I haven't looked back!
i just love the floral dress with cardigan look. the top 2 looks are my favourites :)
ReplyDeletelove love love the two floral dresses! xx
ReplyDeleteI also developed acne out of nowhere in my 20s (never really had it as a teen). If your breakout is temporary, tea tree oil products work great. But if your acne persists or worsens, you might want to start a skin-care routine like PROACTIV. It made a huge difference for me. I'm not sure if they ship internationally, but you should check the web site. Also, if you use anything with benzoyl peroxide in it, make sure you don't touch your clothes because it will bleach most fabrics. I found this out the hard way when all of my pajama tops started fading around the neck!
ReplyDeleteYour outfits are adorable as always!
cute look x
ReplyDeleteYour blog is fantastic. Lovely pictures!
ReplyDeleteyou look so cute in floral dresses! whenever my skin goes a bit crazy, i drink a heap of green tea, seems to help (and it makes me think i'm being healthier too) x
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute, the stripy skirt really suits you!
ReplyDeleteI went through a bad skin phase a month or so ago, and I gave myself a girlie night with a loooong bath and a face mask (I used magnaminty from Lush) and it actually made a lot of difference, my skin hasn't flared up since.
I also realised that using extra moisturising conditioner a lot was causing havoc with my skin!
Oh, and Urban Decay concealer is great for bad skin days! :)
My my,sombody's looking tan! I love all your patterened clothing. Zits are the worst, and are pretty much the bane of my existance. I find that applying a good amount of the Clearsil spot treatment stuff before bed does a pretty good job.

oo, i love all your dresses! esp the floral ones.
ReplyDeletecute outfits!
ReplyDeleteBoots magnesium sulphate (a bargain at £1.99 for 50g) is great for minor skin irritations and infections. It's incredibly gloopy, and is only suitable for use over night as you can't put makeup over it,but really does help to calm down irritated and red spots.
