My second vlog! I am such a noob to videos though, as you can tell. My camera decided to only film in 10 minute blocks, which I didn't know! So this is 2 videos clipped together. It also ends abruptly, as I didn't realise I was nearly at the end of my time. Oh well. I ramble a lot more in this, but you get to have a good nose at what's in my bag. This is a clearer photo of my new Cath Kidston bag that my Mum bought for me. I've used it every single day since I got it.
It's the perfect size for carrying around the essentials; not too small, not too big. I always have to have a bottle of water and a book in my bag (along with the other essentials such as phone, purse, etc). What do you always have to have in your bag?

Love your new bag! I'm using that exact bookmark at the moment!
ReplyDeleteCame across your blog. Love it! That bag is too cute! I've never heard of Cath Kidston (maybe it's because I live in the U.S.?). I'll have to check out her store. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh, and in my bag I've always got lip gloss/balm, hand sanitizer, powder compact, my digital camera, a hair brush.. and of course, my cell phone and wallet.
I have such a crush on your bag
ReplyDeleteI love cath kidston bags - I got one of the ones they had in tescos - did you see those? It makes food shopping a bit more bearable! :)
ReplyDeleteaww, i love this post :)
ReplyDeletecute bag, love the floral pattern
ReplyDeleteI really need to remember to pack a brush and umbrella with me, I always seem to be missing one when I most need it!
the orange prize books tend to be a bit weird haha
RE your comment: I'm not sure if I would be the best person to inform you on Jewish culture and the religion. I am half Jewish on my mother's side (which is actually the side that counts, if you're strict about the religion then that means children are only considered Jewish if their mother was Jewish, simply put, its a matrilineal religion, but of course, people now convert and whatever) However I have never practiced the religion and was never bat mitz vah'ed (that's the official coming of age ceremony when you're 13), but I have a lot of Jewish relatives and my Grandmother definitely used to keep the idea of Jewish culture alive in our household. I would not know were to start. If you had any specific questions, I could try to answer to the best of my abilities. I've read a lot of Jewish literature though (and even took a class on it this semester) so since you're a lit major I could give you some books. Michael Chabon is a must, besides being one of my favorite authors ever, his books definitely do have a Jewish focus. I would recommend his most hailed (won a Pulitzer) The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay- it is about the history of American comics, which was actually a pretty Jewish endeavor, the book discusses the Holocaust without being overbearing and Jewish mysticism like the legend of the Golem. Myla Goldberg's Bee Season is also a fascinating look into a crumbling family when their 12 year old daughter starts winning spelling bees, the book eventually explores Jewish Mysticism. Although the topic never interested in me the book is really well written and slowly sucks you in. Those are just two books for now, but I have a lot more if you do become interested. I am very well aware that Jews are a small population in England, we actually met a British Jewish author this year named Howard Jacobson who said he felt like a minority haha.
sorry to leave such a long comment

Here in Düsseldorf (Germany) did the same thing with the Museums, the were open until late.
ReplyDeleteI love this bag - but I work in a shop, and lots of people have this design now - I have seen a plainer cath kidtson bag in browns which is nice - shame though, you find something you like and everyone has it already!!
