I love the camera on my phone. It's perfect for snappy photos at those moments when a big camera just doesn't seem appropriate. This pretty much sums up what I've been doing lately, working (the top right photo is a little snippet of the overflow of our railway collection in work), watching Scott finish the Great North Run (2 hours 16 minutes, which was slower than Ellie Goulding AND Joe McElderry, but considering he had an injury beforehand, he was please)and spending time with my niece Sophia.
I am too busy/lazy this week to even look at London Fashion Week, but to be honest I am feeling slightly disinterested in fashion at the moment. Does anybody else go through phases when they feel uninspired and not bothered? I just feel at the moment that there are some more important things in life than looking at clothes I can't afford.

a baby is always much more important than clothes...and totally agree....for example during some academic hard years I haven´t been able to put attention as I use to my clothes.....
ReplyDeletenice shoes...I have never been yellow shoes.... :)
Yep. Sometimes fashion just seems a bit too overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteI like cooking, at least you get something out of it :)
I like the yellow theme going on in these pics!
I've never been too interested in clothes I can't afford really so don't feel too disheartened.
ReplyDeleteI also love the yellow theme :) especially the shoes!
sweet photos, I love the yellow shoes!
ReplyDeleteSophia is sooo cute! And I totally agree, I'm not really interested in Fashion Weeks, I do prefer thrift stores or independent (and cheaper) designers, but most of all, I do care more about love, friends, family, books and happiness! :)
ReplyDeletei need to get a better phone camera! mine takes awful pictures, but youve got some lovely ones here, the yellow shoes are to pretty and your niece is so adorable x
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Scott! I definitely go through 'non-fashion' phases, though I'm currently gonig through the complete opposite and consequently keep having overwhelming urges to shop!
ReplyDeleteya, I def have up and down interest in fashion. It can get a little intense.
ReplyDeleteI love your camera phone pictures. Very sweet :)
I know exactly what you mean. Fashion can sometimes just get to me and I need to take a break.
ReplyDeleteI like your photos:)
I like the yellow shoes! :D
ReplyDeleteCute photos, and congratulations to Scott! I definitely have little/no interest in browsing pictures from LFW. It just feels so far removed from my own life, and what inspires me.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures, that baby is adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm holding a giveaway over on my blog, make sure you check it out http://my-favourite-fashion.blogspot.com/
Have a great weekend! xxx
yes, i'm not always that bothered by the big guns, i'm more interested in personal style than being told what the new fashions are
ReplyDeleteI totally understand what you mean! I'm a Fashion Promotion student, so sometimes hearing about the 'pretentious' side to fashion all day really does make me lose interest! I like to think that clothes are there to have fun with, not to sit and pick apart all day.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I could never get fed up of looking at pictures of your latest cake and whatnot, not ever! Haha :) x
I don't really go through phases where I don't feel inspired, fashion-wise, but frustrated, yes! There are so many fabulous shoes, clothes, and accessories that I cannot afford, and fashion magazines make is seem like the average person can purchase these items. I dream of a day when I can, but right now the thrift stores and sale racks are my friends.
ReplyDeleteHehe these photos are quite cute <3
ReplyDeleteI have no money so the london fashion week photos just pained me! I never care much about anyone except high street retailers anyway. xox
ReplyDeleteWow at the yellow shoes!
