Last weekend we went pumpkin picking! We go to a place near Warrington called Kenyon Hall and it has amazing fields full of different sized pumpkins plus a little farm shop where you can buy local produce. It really makes me love Autumn.
Oh my, I never even thought of trying to find pumpkin patches in the UK! I didn't think they were grown here. Mmm, this has my mouth watering for risotto, pumpkin pie & soup!
Oh my goodness! I never knew it was possible to pick pumpkins in the uk (i live 20ish miles away from warrington too!) Wow, I really thought it was an american thing. Such glorious pictures!
WOW! This is unreal - I've never seen a pumpkin patch and had no idea pumpkin picking existed in this country! How amazing. I must find something similar near us. xx
Aw, how fun! I don't think I've ever been pumpkin picking. I just bought tiny little ones from a store this year. But I DID decorate them to look like Daleks and the Eleventh Doctor, soooo...still pretty cool, right?
UAU!!!! we don´t have this kind of pumpkin fiels in Spain...actually in the North we use to feed pig with them...but anyway...I love pumpkin in soups and in pies :D
Love the pics! I never thought of going pumpkin picking myself either, never even imagined that you could. I spent ages picking one in Tesco only for it to rot away a few days later before I even got to carve it!
wow i would love to do something like this
ReplyDeletei love shopping in farm shops and local grocers!
