I am currently off work with tonsillitis. I am 22 and have NEVER had tonsillitis before in my life! It started off on Tuesday just as a little niggling cold and now has progressed to full blown tonsillitis. I'm now on some antibiotics and generally feeling a bit sorry for myself (I want someone to bring me some ice cream please!). Yesterday was glorious though and the dogs loved frolicking in the garden. How cute are Pepe & Nina? (Pepe is the grey one and Nina is the smaller, darker one). The spring sunshine made me get out my pretty yellow flower brooch for a splash of colour in my otherwise dull work outfit. I also taught myself how to crochet hearts thanks to Attic 24's pattern and I think I may spend this afternoon in bed crocheting some more. After a little nap. I really hope that I feel better soon because I haven't been for a run or to the gym since the weekend! Anyway, I hope you are all okay and enjoying the sunshine (although I still don't think it's warm enough to go bare legged yet ha)

Hope you get well soon! If not you'll have manufactured a lot of those cute hearts...
ReplyDeleteDon't worry so much about the running, sweetie. The rest will actually do you good & if you let your poor body repair itself before your next run, you will probably do better than your last run. Definitely don't run if you still feel sickly, you'll only make it worse! Hope you feel better soon :]
ReplyDeleteI really feel for you! I had my tonsils out several years ago because of it.
ReplyDeleteI have a stinking cold, argh...stupid getting ill just as the weather gets good!

ReplyDeleteAww, tonsilitis is horrible, I had it a couple of years ago. The only good thing about it though is that you can eat copious amounts of ice cream and consider it medicinal :) Get well soon!

ReplyDeleteI had tonsillitis for the first time at 19, so horrible.
Your outfit is wonderful though, I love the dress. I've been thinking a lot about wrap dresses recently and I really want to get one. The red tights are lovely too. I do like a bit of bright colour in an outfit.
These past few days have been lovely, so sorry you've been sick. Hope you're feeling better now though. I frequently have tonsillitis ever since I was little and I strike it back with Ibuprofen from the moment I sense it starting, it usually is enough.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely and so the doggies :)
PS: I really like the new look of your blog!
So sorry you've been ill. Hope you get better soon! Your dogs are adorable. What kind of dog is Pepe?
