Just a short post today! I've been busy in work and then at the gym and now I'm watching choccywoccydoodah and craving an amazing piece of chocolate cake. This is what I wore on Saturday to go for a nice lunch in Liverpool with Scott. We visited a new(ish...new to us!) place called 'Leaf', there are photos of it to come!
Spring is nearly here! I've got daffodils on my windows and I'm growing some basil too so I can make some homemade pesto, yum! I went for my long run yesterday and the sun was so so warm on my face, it was lovely. I definitely feel so much better after a bit of sunshine, I even feel better about my outfits. I hate winter really. I love the idea of it: hot chocolate with marshamallows, snuggles, snowball fights; but the reality is much different to that. Spring, summer & autumn are all my favourites. Winter can go and get lost!

Love your outfit - so cheery and spring like!
ReplyDeleteTotes agree about winter - what a rubbish season! Loving the colours in this outfit!x

ReplyDeleteIt's always exciting when the first daffodils of spring emerge- those look lovely :) And your outfit is very nice too- the blue and yellow work really well. I wish it were spring here in Australia! Our summer has just finished so we're heading into autumn... not looking forward to the chillier weather!
ReplyDeleteOh I like Leaf! Did you have the vintage afternoon tea?

ReplyDeleteIsn't all this spring weather lovely? I feel like winter came earlier this year but then spring did it too so it all evens out I guess.
ReplyDeleteYour cute little pot of basil looks so green and healthy that I'm a little jealous, I've been trying to start a little herb garden too but it's still very puny. Just have to be patient I guess...
I am loving the jug you've got your daffs in!

ReplyDeleteSpring is coming yes! Some trees in London already have flowers and there are plenty of daffodils in the street parallel to mine I took some that were ripped home and put them in a jar.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely, as usual, my main inspiration on the use of primary colours ;)
Great outfit.
