I love living so close to the park, it's almost become a weekend ritual to go for a walk in the walk, either with the dogs or by ourselves. Sometimes we get an ice cream (yes, even in this weather!) or just meander down to Lark Lane for a mooch. The bandstand in Sefton Park is so beautiful; it's said to have inspired the cover art for The Beatles' Sgt Pepper album. I have really enjoyed seeing the park change from summer to winter and I am actually hoping that we get lots of snow so that I can frolic in the snow there! Are you enjoying the change in the seasons?

i am not looking forward to the snow at all! especially in scotland, but i am enjoying your little pooches! :D xx

I'm loving the fresh mornings here in Edinburgh. Autumn is my favourite season, and I just want to have tea and watch films all the time. Your park looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteAw your dogs are too cute!
ReplyDeleteI love autumn and winter, so I'm really enjoying seeing all the leaves turn red and it getting darker in the evenings. Can't wait for it to snow (although I probably won't be saying the same thing after 2 solid months of snow chaos!)
Lovely park walk and scarf to go with it!

That band stand is beautiful. If the weathers nice at the weekend I'm thinking of driving to a park near me and doing my run there just to enjoy the trees :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty park!! I really wish there were some parks here I could take my dog to - most of them are sports grounds or too close to busy roads. That band stand is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo of you and you guy too :) cute couple!

ReplyDeleteThere's no such thing as ice-cream weather in my opinion. And walks are so calming how fun you get to live near a park.
ReplyDeleteI love autumn - especially when it's sunny and blue skies - pretty park!

Aw I really love the photo of you two. It's such a lovely pic and the one of the band stand is awesome too. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little family!
ReplyDeleteBtw, my new favorite look is a dress with heavy tights with thick knee-socks layered, like you're sporting in the pic.:) xx
The same sort of thing has happened to me! Our new flat is right next to the canal and so going for a walk on a weekend has turned into a bit of ritual. Seeing the trees change colour and gradually putting on more and more layers on my way out of the flat to go down there has been a big help in making me feel festive this autumn/winter! xx
